Are you a victim off Macroconfusion?

Protein, carbs, and fat are not food groups. They are macronutrients found in myriad combinations in food. Macroconfusion is the #1 cause of confusion in nutrition for everyone ranging from the layperson to the researcher and healthcare professional. A study in The Lancet in 2018 sums this up perfectly, as it concluded that “both high and low percentages of carbohydrate diets were associated with increased mortality.” How can that be interpreted in a practical sense? Instead of counting macros, I recommend eating from that list - vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs, and spices - in infinite, tasty combinations and using the 6 Daily 3’s to prioritize foods for optimal nutrition.
